You'll hear a "ding" every time you receive a private message, and whenever anybody enters, leaves, or posts a message in ANY room you joined, whether you're in that room or not. Click the Mute Button (microphone) to turn off the notifications.
Availability Status:
Your availability status will be displayed for others in the bottom right corner of your Avatar, which appears in the Room Roster, and when the "Chatting" and "Online" buttons are clicked. If you've stepped away, or are you’re involved in a conversation and don’t want to be interrupted, click the Availability Status Button and change your status to “Busy” (red button). Keep in mind that it will remain on that setting until you change it back to “Available" (green button).
Chat History:
When you first join a room, you won’t see the text chat history - only the messages posted from that time forward. The same applies for new visitors.
Note: If you leave ("Unjoin") a room the conversation history will be lost.
Click "COM System" (under Cayce's Photo ID) to start chatting now.
